CFHLA Endorses Ted Edwards for Orange County Commission

Orlando, Florida – Orange County Commissioner Ted Edwards secured the endorsement of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association (CFHLA).  CFHLA is one of Central Florida’s largest and most influential trade groups. The membership includes nearly 80% of the more than 118,000 hotel rooms in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties, and employs 117,000 people in the hospitality industry.  CFHLA membership is dedicated to supporting the industry in Central Florida.

“It is an honor to receive the endorsement of CFHLA,” said Edwards.  “We are known for our tourism and hospitality and the careers this industry provides for our citizens.  I have enjoyed working with CFHLA to promote Central Florida and I look forward to continuing our work together.”

Edwards was elected to the Orange County Board of Commissioners for District 5 in 2010 and re-elected in 2012.  He is running for his final term on the Board of Commissioners due to term limits.

"Protecting the interests of our taxpayers while improving and strengthening our community are my top priories. With your support, I will continue to work on attracting higher paying jobs, finding traffic solutions, protecting our natural resources and ensuring the services you count on are efficiently delivered." - Ted Edwards
